The main page of the Create New World screen in Java Edition allows the player to cull a world name and change various settings earlier creating the world.
Options
- World Proper noun
- Allows the name of the world to be gear up to a custom string. This name correlates to the folder in .minecraft/saves where the world save can be establish.
- Game Mode
- Allows the default game way of the world to exist changed. Clicking the push button cycles through to the next game style. The available game modes are Survival, Hardcore, and Creative.
- Difficulty
- Allows the default difficulty setting to exist inverse. Clicking the button cycles through to the next difficulty. There are four options available; in guild, Peaceful, Easy, Normal, and Hard.
- Allow Cheats
- Controls whether or not commands are able to be used. Clicking the push button toggles the option on and off (default).
- Information Packs
- Opens a bill of fare that controls which information packs the world should commencement off with.
- Game Rules
- Opens a carte du jour that controls which game rules should be enabled by default. Tin can be set even when cheats are disabled.

- Opens a 2nd page of earth creation options, listed below.

- Seed
- Allows the world seed to be changed. Any string of characters can be placed here.
- Generate Structures
- Controls whether or non structures should generate in the world. Clicking the button toggles the option on (default) and off.
- World Type
- Controls the globe blazon. Clicking the push button cycles through the available world types, which are Default, Superflat, Large Biomes, AMPLIFIED, Unmarried Biome, and, when Alt is held down, Debug Mode. When Superflat or Single Biome is selected, a "Customize" button appears, which allows settings unique to that world type to be modified. With a world type of Superflat, the Customize button options the "Superflat Customization" menu is shown; with Unmarried Biome, the button brings you to a list of selectable biomes.
- Bonus Breast
- Controls whether a bonus breast full of beginner loot should generate near the actor when they first spawn in to the world. Clicking the push toggles the option on and off (default).
- Import Settings
- Opens a file pick carte du jour where the player can import custom world settings to apply to the new world.

- World Name
- Allows the name of the world to be set to a custom cord.
- Default Game Mode
- Allows the default game manner of the globe to be changed. Clicking the button opens a dropdown allowing the thespian to select between Survival (default) and Creative.
- Difficulty
- Allows the default difficulty setting to be changed. Clicking the push opens a dropdown allowing the histrion to select betwixt Peaceful, Piece of cake, Normal (default), and Hard.
- Earth Preferences
- Contains two toggles: Starting Map (disabled past default) and Bonus Chest (besides disabled).
- Player permission when joining from invite
- Opens an annotated dropdown where the role player can select the default player permission level of whatever players who join that globe. Options are Company (players cannot interact with the world), Member (default; players tin interact with the world), and Operator (players can utilise commands).
- Globe Type
- Allows the globe blazon to be selected. Clicking the button opens a dropdown allowing the thespian to select between Flat, Infinite (default), and Former.
- Seed
- Allows the earth seed to be inverse. Any string of characters tin be placed hither.
- Simulation Distance

- World Options

Resource Packs
- Require players to have resources packs to join
- A checkbox that controls whether the resources packs are optional (default) or forced.

- A dropdown widget that lists agile resource packs.
- My Packs
- A dropdown widget that lists available resource packs gotten from the Marketplace, along with a link there.
- Get More Packs
- A dropdown widget containing previews of resource packs from the Market, with a link to browse more.
